At-home sexual assault evidence kits sold to UW sorority
An investigation into at-home sexual assault evidence collection kits sold by company Leda Health to University of Washington sorority Kappa Delta showed that these kits were falsely advertised as admissible in court. The impacts of this reporting can be seen at the local, state and national level.
My articles were cited by Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson's cease and desist letter to the company, and a state bill prohibiting selling these kits passed into law in the 2023 Washington state legislative session.
